2014 HFI Michelle North Scholarship for Safety Education & Training in Helicopter Operations in USA

Helicopter Foundation International is offering Michelle North Scholarship for Safety in memory of Michelle North, a long-time industry advocate of safety in USA. The scholarship is awarded in safety and safety education and training in helicopter operations. The scholarship covers full tuition to attend the HFI Safety Management course and full registration to HELI-EXPO 2014, and dinner for two applicants. Application should be sent by post and electronically.

Scholarship Description: This scholarship was founded in memory of Michelle North, a long-time industry advocate of safety, to encourage a stronger focus on safety and safety education and training in helicopter operations. As the aircraft industry becomes ever more sophisticated, the requirement for highly skilled pilots and maintenance technicians becomes more and more critical. HFI is offering an array of scholarships to answer the need for both qualified helicopter pilots and maintenance technicians, and to provide further training for safety managers and other professionals in the safety field.
